The centerpiece of this necklace is a sibling to Token Necklace 1, its form intertwined with the process by which it is made. The master is 3D printed. To make the necklace two halves are sand cast then soldered together and hand finished as a unit. The solder seams are left raw to add character and maintain the surface texture. By casting as two halves I can avoid drilling holes, which is possible but very challenging when dealing with such a long piece. The necklace has a really nice weight, and if worn near the skin will hold your warmth. The cord is marine grade machine braided nylon. Both color options I wax in house. I hand dye the brown cord before waxing. The nude cord is pigmented rather than dyed and will fade to a pale grey color over time. Finished with signature sister clasps, the sides of which can pass through each other when the slots are lined up precisely parallel. 24”cord including clasps. If you would like a different length (up to 30”) please leave a note at checkout.
